Wanted to share a quick announcement: On April 22nd, I will be hosting a ZK Jobs Fair as part of the zkSessions series!
Backstory: Many of the top projects and companies in the zk community are looking to hire talented people into their team. At the same time, the Zero Knowledge community keeps growing. Every day there are more and more students, folks just coming out of school, and employees of other areas of blockchain technology or more traditional tech companies who are looking to get their feet wet in the zk space.
So I decided to put together a social event focused on bringing these two groups together. And the idea for the ZK Jobs Fair was born!
This event will be held at 7:15 PM CET (10:15 am PST) on April 22nd, just following the 3rd day of the ZKProofs Workshop. It won’t be a conference (that will be well covered in the event just before this one) but rather a social gathering on an interactive online platform. I am still deciding on which platform to use, but have in mind Gather.town, Topia, Sophya or something similar. Whatever the choice, I will be sure to throw in some fun games and activities to try out while you are there!
Each of the sponsoring companies will have a booth (or area) where participants will be able to learn about the project & jobs that they are offering, as well as get to know some of the people from those organizations.
Confirmed sponsoring teams are Aztec Protocol, Hermez Network & Least Authority— with a number of other top zk/privacy focused teams set to join as well!
This is the first event of this kind and will likely be a bit of an experiment! But I think it should a fun chance to hang out with the community & meet new people working on the tech we love, all in a casual social setting.
If you are a student, cryptographer, software developer, practitioner in blockchain or privacy tech, researcher and/or an engineer looking for a new opportunity — please fill out this form to get your email whitelisted for the event.
And even if you aren’t actively looking at the moment, come by to meet with some of the best zk projects and find out what they’re working on!
